In a dry-goods warehouse aisle lined with tall pallet racking, a pest control technician checks a small triangular pheromone monitor clipped to a rack upright while a forklift crosses far down the aisle.

For pest control companies with warehouse accounts

The racking moves. The map keeps up.

Distribution centers change shape all the time: a new rack row, a bay given over to seasonal stock, dock doors open from first light. Pesvaro is built for the pest control company that looks after them — so the device map, the round and the record stay true to the floor as it is today.

What warehouse clients judge you on

Four pressures a distribution center puts on its pest control company.

  1. The floor never stays the same

Racking is extended, bays are reconfigured, stock arrives for the season and leaves again. A trap that was on a clear wall last month may now sit behind a pallet nobody can move.

On the recordA device map you update the day the layout changes, with every move recorded.

  2. Dock doors are open all day

Trailers back up from first light and doors stand open between loads. The doors are where activity starts, and where a worn seal turns into a finding.

On the recordTraps either side of each dock door checked every round; seals and gaps logged as findings.

  3. Stored-product insects travel with the stock

Flour, grain, pet food and dried goods bring moths and beetles in with them. The first sign is a pheromone monitor reading higher than it did last time.

On the recordPheromone monitor readings by area, trended against the threshold you set.

  4. Their customers audit them

A warehouse that stores food brands’ products is audited by those brands and by the standards they answer to. Your records travel with every one of those audits.

On the recordAn IPM Audit Package compiled from the rounds, ready whenever the warehouse is asked.

Racking moves

Monday, bay 4 has new racking. By the end of the round, the map knows.

Over the weekend the distribution center extended its racking into bay 4 — over two of your traps. On Monday’s round the map is re-walked, the two traps are moved to where they can do their job, and the area is back at spec before the technician leaves.

What Pesvaro is built to do

For every warehouse you look after.

  • Keep each warehouse’s device map current as the racking and the bays change
  • Record each device’s new position when it moves, with the old one closed
  • Check the traps either side of every dock door on every round
  • Trend pheromone monitor readings by area against the threshold you set
  • Compile the IPM Audit Package the warehouse shows its own customers’ auditors

Pesvaro keeps the record. It does not certify audit compliance.

Where your work sits in a distribution center

The areas a warehouse round walks through.

Big floor plates and long walls: each area keeps its own devices, its own risks and its own line in the record.

  1. Dock doors and levelers
  2. Racking aisles and rack ends
  3. Dry goods and stored-product zones
  4. Returns and damaged-goods cage
  5. Battery charging and break rooms
  6. Exterior perimeter and trailer yard

Pesvaro keeps the record your client’s auditor reads. It does not certify audit compliance, and the program and its results stay yours.
